Disadvantaged Communities

SDC

Small Disadvantaged Community means a community with a population of less than 20,000, and either: (1) a community Median Household Income (MHI) of less than eighty percent (80%) of the statewide MHI; or (2) a community sewer rate of more than four percent (4%) of the community’s MHI.

Small Disadvantaged Community (SDC)

In context of California’s Disadvantaged Communities Program: A “Small Disadvantaged Community” is one with a population less than 20,000 and either: (1) a community Median Household Income (MHI) less than eighty percent (80%) of the statewide MHI; or (2) a community sewer rate more than four percent (4%) of the community’s MHI.
